Understanding local hazards, how disasters develop, and how to prepare your household and neighborhood..
Basic fire suppression techniques, extinguisher use, and utility shutoffs during emergencies.
Triage, bleeding control, treatment for shock, and basic life support when professional care is not immediately available..
YOU DO NOT NEED
Emergency services experience, medical training, or special equipment. CERT training gives you everything you need.
